We never told anyone (and probably nobody ever noticed), but 'Melted' is in fact a sort of live rework of 'Character Melting Pot' (Curle002) that you can listen to here:A pretty funky, piano driven cut.
When i met Denis for the first time when he was performing in Brussels as Remute, he told me that he was playing it in a totally different version now. Since he wasn't sure if i would even recognise it, he promised to give me a sign during his gig when he was about to start playing it. So i recorded it with my lousy phone. Watch the roof go off:
We both agreed afterwards that we had to release this "version", and baptised it 'Melted' - probably also because of the terrible heat during the party that night.
